Dental Diode Laser
Standard diode laser wavelength 810nm to 830nm, these diode laser are compact and portable in design and very reliable based on their solid-state components. The Diode lasers are used for soft tissue procedures and laser teeth whitening procedure only. The wavelength is well absorbed by pigmented structures providing for good coagulation and effective cutting of soft tissue.
With significantly higher absorption in water, the diode laser wavelength 980nm, cuts more optically than thermally, meaning it is the absorption of the laser energy vs. a more thermal effect, which is primarily responsible for the soft tissue cutting and coagulation.
